Philippa has extensive experience in EFL teaching, administration and in mission. She spent many years with Operation Mobilisation, including working as Director of Studies at OM's Conwy House Language Centre.

 
Janet Lucas B.A. (Hons),R.S.A. Dip T.E.F.L.A.

Janet has wide experience in English language teaching in the UK, Italy and Poland. She has worked as Director of Studies and is also a trainer for the Cambridge TEFLA certificate (CELTA).

 

Christie Murphy B.A. Biblical Education, RSA Dip T.E.F.L.A.

Christie, who comes from the U.S.A., was an English teacher/missionary in Poland for 22 years. She was a Director of Studies at a church-based language school and later set up the English programme at a theological college. In 2004, Christie joined us as an associate trainer. She is now living in Bournemouth and working for ITN full time.

Edit Ficzere BEd, M.A. (Applied Linguistics), R.S.A. Dip T.E.F.L.A.

Edit has been an associate trainer at ITN since 2005. She has been in ELT for 15 years and has worked as Director of Studies at International House Budapest, teacher trainer and also as an exam writer for Oxford University Press.

 
Associate trainers: We are also linked with a number of well-qualified, experienced Christian  TESOL trainers who live and work overseas.  These trainers regularly join us as teacher trainers on our courses in Bournemouth, making an invaluable contribution with the perspectives which they bring.

   
Irwin Buchanan B.Sc.

Irwin looks after the financial aspects of ITN and is one of our trustees. He studied and worked in Agricultural Economics at the University of Reading and then taught EFL both in the UK and overseas for 20 years. He has also worked for a local Christian charity, International Care Network, helping refugees and asylum seekers in the Bournemouth area
 

David Pickard B.A. (Hons) chartered MCIPD
Former General Director of OMF, David is a trustee of International Training Network.  David has 40 years' experience of missionary service in Asia. He is also a trustee of Friends International and teaches part-time at Moorlands Christian College. David has a background in human relations management and is a member of the international Council of MSI professional services.
